We are seeking a polished and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage full-cycle payroll operations in a multi-jurisdictional environment. This role requires strong payroll knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently communicate experience and problem-solving approaches.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile full-cycle domestic and international payrolls across multiple jurisdictions
- Audit timesheets, expense reports, payroll deductions, and taxable benefits
- Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and international regulations
- Stay current on payroll legislation and labor laws; implement changes as needed
- Prepare ad hoc and custom payroll reports for leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Complete state labor surveys and employment/income verification requests
- Reconcile payroll data with HR and Finance records
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related employee and management inquiries
- Educate employees on payroll processes, tax forms, and self-service tools
- Document payroll procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Partner with HR, IT, and Finance on system implementations and special projects
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (required; field of study does not matter)
- 2-4 years of experience in a full-cycle payroll environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate payroll experience
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, and conditional formatting (tested during interview process)
